Abstract:Shallow geothermal energy with many advantages of non-polluting, renewable, widely distributed, is a clean energy in architecture and also an advanced technology, so it has broad prospects for development and utilization. According to the factors of regional engineering geology, hydrogeology and environmental geology conditions, zoning suitability evaluation system of groundwater heat pumps and ground source heat pump have been established, and a comprehensive evaluation system of the suitability district of shallow geothermal energy in every city has been built. Based on the results of the suitability assessment, this paper evaluated the shallow geothermal energy resources in the main cities, including heat capacity calculation, heat power calculation and thermal potential. This research intents to enrich the theories of development and utilization of shallow ground water and lay the foundation of exploitation and utilization of shallow ground water temperature. So it is possible to build a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, improve our existing energy structure, and promote the realization of the goal of national energy strategy.
