Abstract:Dapai old mine in Yongding county, Fujian Province, is a small-sized manganese deposit that has experienced many geological works. In this project, new theories and new methods were employed to guide the exploration work, and a large-scale lead-zinc polymetallic deposit was found accompanied by iron, copper, molybdenum, silver, manganese and so on. The mineral composition includes lead and zinc in the top, copper in the middle, and magnetite in the bottom. The genetic types change from strata bound-skarn type to strata bound-hydrothermal superimposed deformation type. The discovery of this deposit further enriches the genetic theories of regional ore deposits, and expands the way of regional prospecting.
