Achievements in airborne gravity survey around the Dalian sea area |

Abstract To meet the needs of marine regional geological survey, airborne gravity survey has been carried out in the Dalian sea area. With the GT-1A airborne gravity measurement system, we obtained the high quality gravity data of 94 000 km. The total raw measurement accuracy reached 1.27×10-5m/s2. The airborne gravity data covers Eastern Bohai Sea, North Yellow Sea, Liaodong Peninsula and Shandong Peninsula. Based on the new data and integrated study, many important results, including the basement structure morphology, the boundaries of the main structural units, the characteristics of fault structure, and the delineation of local structural anomalies have been gained. These achievements are favorable for marine regional geological survey, petroleum exploration and integrated investigation of the marine geo-environment in coastal zones.
