Comprehensive evaluation of mine geological environment in Guangxi based on RS and GIS |

Abstract This paper chose Guangxi Province as the study area and used remote sensing technology to investigate the mine geological environment and obtain the data of exploitation situation, mining activities area, geological disasters, environmental pollution and restoration and control. Firstly, fourteen factors based on geography and geology information were taken for evaluation. Then, grid method was adopted provide comprehensive evaluation of mine geological environment. Finally, the mine geological affected areas were classified into four levels: the seriously affected areas, the more severely affected areas, generally affected areas and had no effect areas. So this study can provide some ideas and technical support for environment control, relevant policies and regulations.
