Application of comprehensive method to search concealed deposit in the shallow area of Hanggaiyinhundi area in Inner Mongolia |

Abstract The Hanggaiyinhundi area of Inner Mongolia is seriously covered and indistinctly prospected. The authors have summarized the previous research on the basis of comprehensive ore-prospecting information and completed some work on launched geological mapping, soil geochemical measurements, intermediate gradient in IP measurement according to the practical situation. This method helps decrease the effective cost and receives good prospecting results by drilling verification, so the objective of comprehensive prospecting was achieved. This study was based on mutual authentication system and focused on the effects and problems of the work in this research area. Finally, the geology-geochemistry-geophysics integrated prospecting models were established through comprehensive analysis of regional geology background, geological characteristics, geochemical characteristics, geophysical characteristics and source materials for mineralization, host space and ore-controlling structure and prospecting indicators.
