Abstract We collected bibliometric data of SCI papers published by the authors in China Geological Survey. By using bibliometric method, we statistically analyzed the papers output, research fields, research focus, and institutions collaboration. The final aim is to give an interpretation to the scientific development tendency of China Geological Survey from one side.
